Two points separated the Rockets and Eagles through the middle frames of Tuesday nights non-conference match up between Reeths-Puffer and Oakridge. The Rockets fast first quarter in which they dumped in 23 and fourth quarter in which they scored 20 points was the difference in the game. The final score was 73 - 50.
Lauren Ross and Emily Caltagirone set the tone from outside for the Rockets knocking down 6 three pointers. Ross ended with 23 points and Caltagirone had 18 on the night. Trina Lewis and Bridget McHugh had 13 and 8 in the post for RP. The difference in the game came down to defense over the course of the game. The Rockets 1-2-2 defense forced tough shots for the Eagles throughout the game.
Sophia Wiard paced the Eagles with 25 points and Brianna Pastor chipped in 11.
