The Rockets picked up their second win in two nights, taking down the Lady Red Hawks of GR Union 58-42. Quality team defense in the second half was the difference down the stretch for the Rockets against feisty Union. The Rockets also capitalized from the freethrow line, knocking down 26 of 32 from the charity stripe. Lauren Ross led all scorers with 28 points and Emily Caltagirone chipped in 10. Caltagirone had 6 assists and Trina Lewis had seven rebounds.
Grand Rapids Union was led by Adrian Idziak with 10 points and 9 rebounds. DaCareana Guyton pulled down 7 boards and 6 points.
